Messina and Tarros reorganize (from separate) the lines between Italy and North Africa

The Italian shipping companies Tarros and Ignazio Messina & C. have put an end to their collaboration on the routes between Italy and Algeria. Both companies confirm it to SHIPPING ITALY explaining that from now on they will serve the North African country buying slots on the line Algeria Service (SIFAX Service) operated by Cnan Med.

The connection is operated by two container port ships from 1.700 Teu and the rotation will also add a stopover in the port of La Spezia (Terminal del Golfo). The service, with weekly frequency, will stop at Marina di Carrara, La Spezia, Genoa, Marseille, Barcelona, Valencia, Algiers and again Marina di Carrara.

Beyond that Ignazio Messina & c. has closed also the East Med / Libya Service and will continue to scale the port of Alexandria of Egypt with its ships ro-ro/container Jolly. Tarros instead will start its own connection with fortnightly frequency operated with a ship from 900 Teu that will climb La Spezia, Malta, Tripoli, Misrata, Salerno and again La Spezia.
